Baker's Frosting

Ingredients

• 2 egg whites
• 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup shortening
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions

Beat eggs and salt until stiff. Gradually mix in half of the powdered sugar. Add the shortening and vanilla, and mix well. Gradually add the rest of the powdered sugar, and beat until smooth.
